Retail Dimension (RD) specialise in designing and manufacturing store fit-outs for some of NZ’s leading brands and retailers including Spark, Lotto and Fonterra. RD wanted to develop a centralised online hub (or portal) to be used by these high value clients, streamlining the process of retail fit-outs across multiple stores and locations throughout NZ. Along with a team of developers, we were tasked to build this customer portal from the ground up, with myself in charge of the UI design. Because of the amount of different clients and types of projects RD manage for them, it was important to make the system somewhat extensible. The solution was to create an admin style dashboard in which content could be customised to suit a clients specific needs. The core UI theming was chosen to fit in with the existing RD brand look and feel, although secondary colour accents can be chosen to suit a clients brand.
