Autumn 2016 saw Auckland put on its biggest ever line–up of art and culture events. Auckland Tourism (ATEED) needed an identity to communicate this, and stand out from similar events across NZ. The Arts Are Alive campaign was created to be a surreal twist on a street carnival, with each figure playing their part in representing the diversity of the season. Talent were photographed mid–action, and by playing with scale and a 2.5D Parallax effect, quite literally come alive. The artwork was used across a range of media including Print, Billboard, Adshel and YouTube pre–rolls.
